Be a Responsible Pet Owner

Just this afternoon, I went to the veterinarian for my dog Sophie 's booster injection and I'm proud to say that I have completed all the necessary injections for my dog. She already got vaccines for rabies, kernel cough (booster), for anti ticks/pleas, deworming, and 6-1 booster and the vet told me that she will be healthy and I also need not worry that she will get sick and of course I am confident that no one will get rabies just in case she bits someone.

We will be back after 3 months for deworming and other injections while others will be for next year already. Anyway, if you have pets you should be responsible and have them checked and most importantly have your dogs injection with anti-rabies. Rabies can kill people in an instant so injection is a must.

There are practically many people being bitten by dogs and if you are a victim you can sought the help of Austin dog bite lawyer so that you'll get compensation for your injury. They will represent you in court so that you'll get claims that you deserve.

Keeping Updated

Reading some of my friend's blogs to keep me updated with what's happening to their lives and families. Some are planning vacations soon (I want to plan too!), others are keeping their belts tighter for some other personal projects, while others are looking for more ways on how to earn extra and one even thought of investing on a business and who knows someone will buy gold bullion in the future for investment. We all know that gold has great value so the thought of investing in it is good.

Though the economy is still not on it's stable state and prices of commodities and our electric bills going up recently, there are still people who are willing to take the risk.

No Net Connection

Am I lucky or what? After doing lots of house chores this morning in preparation of my niece's 7th birthday on Sunday I decided to go online to read mails and of course do my online works but Oh dear there's no net connection once again. I can;t help but to be annoyed once again as Smart is down once again.

I tried to direct the connection on my laptop and disabling the wireless connection once again but it's still the same. Nothing to do, I just decided to scrap and I actually made 1 layout. I went here at my shop and fortunately there's net and to my surprise I have tons of works to do.

How Shy are You?

Acdg. to Wikipedia In humans, shyness (also called diffidence) is a social psychology term used to describe the feeling of apprehension, lack of confidence, or awkwardness experienced when a person is in proximity to, approaching, or being approached by other people, especially in new situations or with unfamiliar people. Shyness may come from personality introversion, genetic traits, or the environment in which a person is raised.

You Are 44% Shy

Although you live a pretty normal life, you tend to be a fairly shy person.

Many situations make you feel uncomfortable, and you sometimes find your shyness hindering your life.

You can survive daily life just fine, but you don't go out of your way to be social.

Watch out. You may end up missing out on some advantages that extroverted people have.

Yeah, I can say that I'm a bit shy that's why I tend to shy away from some social gatherings.

In Case of Emergency

We've seen the destructive earthquakes that happened in Haiti and China lately and all we are praying that it will not happen to our country because it's just scary. Government around the globe have sent donations in form of money, medical supplies and some sent medical teams and soldiers to help with the victims.

These days, it's scary to hear at the news that our country is very vulnerable to such disaster bec. their is the Marikina Fault line. I just hope we'll be ready when emergency happens (hope not!) and I'm praying that medical supplies are also available. Our gov't  should already have ample supplies of those, these days it can be purchased easily online like at Jazz Medical Supplies.

Low Supply of Water

This summer we've been experiencing low supply of water running through our faucets eventhough we have an electric pump that will get water from deep well. It seems that the pump is having hard time pumping water underground due to extreme weather condition that dries the source. Due to this our water tank takes too long to be filled and it also resulted to our higher electric bill.. yay!

I also heard from friends and in the news that in QC they have no water. Oh dear, low supply of water is already a problem how much more if there's no water! I know when the rainy season is here once again maybe in June, the water levels will rise again and our supply will be back to normal.

Thanking FB

Thank goodness I finally joined FB about 2 months ago, I thought that joining was just nothing but I was wrong. I was reconnected with my relatives most especially who are residing in the US, my highschool classmates, college friends and other online friends. The only thing that made me signed up is when I saw pictures of my cousins in the US from my SIL's update and I thought why not keep in touch with them once again after so many years.

A college bff of mine sent a message to me the other day saying that she bumped into a former classmate of ours in LA and she learned that she is a practicing doctor, wow that is a great news. Who knows, we might have a classmate who is a Texas Maritime lawyer, a pilot or even a captain. Those are not impossible, I reckon.

I've also come to know some details of my former HS batchmates who are doing good with their careers and families. Sometimes it's good to peek in their lives most especially those that I have not seen since we've graduated.

Ok, I'm off to check on my latest FB updates hehe..

Barangay Basketball Leaque

Lately, I've been getting lots of solicitations from basketball leagues here in our area. Since it's summer and kids are out of school and having summer vacation, some teens are joining basketball tournaments to make their vacation worthy and to keep them fit and active.

Some leagues don't have lots of sponsors or don't have funds that's why they are seeking financial support to other people. In turn, the money collected will be used to order their uniforms, basketball (i don't think personalized basketballs will be suited for the tournament) and other things that they will need on their games.

I remember when I was still young, I used to tag along with my relatives to watch games in the barangays.

Don't Quit

A quick break from work and I always love listening to music or reading inspiration thoughts. Here's a a video that I found in Youtube and it's about a Don't Quit Poem. Something inspirational  and teaches how not to quit easily when we have problems. I hope  someone will be inspired and be touched by this. Watch the video.

Badminton Tournament of Sort

Oh dear my lazy mode struck this week due to my monthly visitor and I hate it bec. I missed the fun with my former highschool friends. They invited me to join them to play badminton yesterday after office hours but it looks like that my butt is kinda stuck on my chair and my feet nailed on the ground hehe.

I saw their photos on Facebook and of course I was kinda jealous to see them having fun. They are actually sweating it out and I don;t think they'll need any best weight loss supplements available bec. just by playing badminton will keep them fit.

I think there will be a badminton scheduled every Friday and we are more than welcome to join.  It's not professional tournament though but just a game to have some fun. I hope I can join the fun one time so I can have a little exercise as well.

Yay it's 38C!

Oh my goodness.. it was darn hot lately.!! I was so uncomfortable and sweating and saw it was 38C yesterday afternoon. It was humid and sticky even after taking a cold bath.

I guess this is the hottest year that I have experienced in my whole life and I will not wonder anymore why there are many kids getting sick. Old folks are also very vulnerable to suffer hypertension and heat stroke bec. of the weather.

The weather really have changed for the worst and experts are still continuing their study and weatherization training to learn more ways on how we can protect the Nature. We should also do our own little way in being an eco-friendly household.

Election's Coming

Wow 2 weeks then it's gonna be the National and Local Election day already and we'll be electing new Pres., Vice-Pres., Senators and more. The election fever is getting hot and intense already, candidates are going here and there to get the hearts and votes of the people.

They are giving away custom hats, fans, calendars, candies and more of they are having their motorcades. I'm not sure of the people are happy to see them or just happy to get some of their

Anyway, I hope we'll elect a new leader that will alleviate our down economy and who is not corrupt, we have enough of those. So this coming May, let's all vote!

Something to Ponder

Been a Long Day

I started my day feeling achy due to my monthly visitor and I don't have any mefenamic acid on stock so I wasn't able to drink any. I just took the pain but I feel so bitchy, irritable and uncomfortable. I know many women are going through these where our hormones are jumbling every month. I didn't go to my net cafe today bec. I feel so lazy, thanks to my SIL and mom who opened it for me.

I still work despite what I'm feeling but taking breaks once in a while. It helps that my sweet and playful dog is here so I was able to unwind during my breaks. I also gave her a bath after lunch and walked her outside in the afternoon.

I cooked our lunch and dinner for today and I have to thank my niece who is on vacation for she is  the one who cuts the veggies and meat for me and washed the dishes. It cuts my house chores since she's here. I also took advantage of my scrapping mojo that is flowing since last weekend. I was able to make 2 simple layouts that I;ll share at my digi-scrapping blog.

Now that my day is about to end, I can feel my varicose veins hurting (yay, sign of old!), I know I will not need any sleeping pills to put me in deep slumber bec.  I'm already tired and for sure when my body touched my bed, in few minutes I'll be in dream land.

Feeling Good About Ourselves

To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting. ~e.e. cummings, 1955

There are times when we feel down and felt that the world and the people around seems not on our side, all we can ever do is to pray and think positive. We can also meditate as it helps us collect our thoughts and it relaxes us for a while. Sometimes if I feel down I also go online and visit my fave website (like shopping stores) and just browse until I feel good. I don't have to buy though but simply looking at the things I like will veer me away from worries or boredom.

We can also set our own ME time, go to the salon for a foot or hair spa, manicure/pedicure and just pamper yourself. Don;t worry much about your physical looks for it will fade eventually, set aside getting hydroxycut if you can and just focus on your best assets.

Get a hobby (photography and digi-scrapping) are mine. Get into sports, meet new people, date, go out and have fun. Set a goal and dream big, in fact it's always free to dream. Be happy and be yourself!

Care to Share Easy Dinner Ideas?

Dinner time is almost here once again and right now, I still don’t know what to cook for my family. I still have the left over food from lunch time but I don’t feel like eating it once again tonight. I guess you can relate with my small problem right now, there are times when you are just so baffled on what to serve for your family most especially if you have kids. It’s never too easy to think and prepare meals on the daily basis and as much as you wanted to come up with delicious recipes each time, you may fall short.

I’ve been scouring the net for possible quick and Easy Dinner Ideas that I can add to my small collection of recipes right now. What I’m looking for is for a dish to be simple, delicious and still healthy. I’m not into complicated dishes right now since I can be very busy with my work most of the times. My family is not into much of the processed foods or fast foods, they are just fattening and of course not that healthy.

My mom also is not into meat these days because of her high blood pressure and cholesterol, as much as possible; I need to cook healthy foods for her. Veggies and fish are the best for her.

While browsing online, fortunately I saw recipes that only require about 30 mins. of cooking time and I guess I have to try them in my future cooking. I also need to try some new dishes and will see if it’s worth cooking again and again. Being stuck with same dishes over and over again for many years can be sickening, our taste buds already know what it tastes that why there are times we end up not eating or not liking it at all. It’s also disheartening when your family tells you that “oh no, not again!” when they saw the same dish

Ok..I’m going to raid my fridge now and see what will I cook later.

Following What Your Heart Desires

I know all of us have desires, wants and dreams for our self or even for our own family. It's never forbidden to dream, in fact, like others would say, “Dream Big” and make it come true. There are dreams that may never come to a reality but more often than not if we really follow what our heart desires then I guess nothing is impossible, right?

If you dream of being top an actor, be a photographer or even a beautician, then I suggest you go for it! If it’s your passion then embrace that dream of yours and work hard for it. Make research, enroll in a cosmetology school and do your best.

Visit to the Doctor

I accompanied mom to her Internist doctor once again this morning for her follow up check-up. Just in case you didn't know mom was rushed to the hospital 2 weeks ago due to high blood pressure. She was not admitted at the hospital though (Thank God!) bec. her high bp was controlled when she was given a first aid the ER.

We went o her doctor a week ago and her doc gave her new medicines and I've been monitoring her BP ever since. It looks like the medicine is compatible with her so this morning the doctor advised her to drink it now regularly everyday after dinner.

The doc also saw her ECG result and advised my mom to drink med that will control her cholesterol as well bec. the result is not appreciative. I bought her medicines and I hope she will drink all of them regularly. I'm not worried bec. for sure she'll drink it bec. I know she doesn't want to end at the ER once again.

Self Image and Self Esteem

Self Image is what we obviously think of ourselves. I believe that if we project ourselves in a positive way our self esteem is much greater than those that think of themselves in a negative or very destructive way. If we always remind ourselves that we can do anything that our hearts desire then I guess we'll never fail.

I've watched true stories of people where they lost their self esteem and self courage because they view themselves as inferior to others. People around us also can affect how we view ourselves. If you always hear endlessly that you are nothing, worthless, fat that needs to read lipozene reviews and ugly, then for sure our minds will be bloated and polluted with those criticisms.

Notice those people who are surrounded by good words and good moral, they always end up being good and with good values as well.

Annoying Orange: Super Mario

Just saw this while browsing youtube. It also made me miss Super Mario games that I usually play on our family computer back in the 80's. If you want to get annoyed then watch this Orange is really annoying!

My Sweet Cravings

I guess if you've been to my other blogs, you'd see some photos and posts of my sweet cravings. Been craving for cakes and finally I gave in yesterday. I bought a small choco marjolaine cake from Red Ribbon and it finally ceased my cake cravings. Hmmm it's was so yummy! I had it for meryenda (snack) in the afternoon and I saved couple of slices so I can still have some more till tomorrow.

I'm so glad that I don;t need any best diet pills at the moment eventhough I can see my belly fats bulging once again. I know I deserve to splurge on sweets sometimes but not too much of course.

Out of Town Family Vacation Soon

It’s summer once again and although we are always complaining how hot it is these days to go out, most of us are still wanting to go swimming or have some fun summer activities. I have quite few friends and relatives who already went out swimming with their families and with the looks of it, they really enjoyed it.

My bro and her family will be going to Club Manila East Resort in Batangas on May for 2days for their family outing along with other families of my SIL's officemates and right now they are already planning on what to bring. With the upcoming out of town travel that they will have, my brother is also trying to see to it that our van is in proper condition. The breaks and the engine should be on its tip top shape plus he’s checking the audio system to ensure that they will not be bored while traveling.

Kids will also be cranky if they will not be able to watch DVD inside the car so I’m sure tons of DVDs will be included. Driving while using the mobile phone is a no-no, so to be safe a headset is a must for my bro. He’s also wishing that our van will have a GPS system so that it’ll be more hi-tech and I guess he needs to consider installing these in the future.

Customizing Vehicles

A good friend of my brother visited him the other day and from time to time I was able to eavesdrop some of their conversations that they had. They’re talking about their family, business and of course cars (what else is new with the boys anyway.) It seems that his friend is encouraging my bro to have our van modified or customized since he knew that my bro already modified his motorbike. I guess my bro is reluctant in doing it on our van since it requires money and that is not on our priority at this time.

Well, I know guys love to talk about their cars and I understand that. I’m not also wondering why there are some guys who collects cars and who’d really shell out great some of money for customization like putting custom wheels, dashboard kits and even those hot and eye-catching lambo doors. Guys are always resourceful and will always find a place like CarID where they can get car accessories and more.
