It's my dad's BIRTHDAY today and if only he was alive then he'd be 75 already. We only had a small family celebration, SIL just cooked pancit and mom made some halo halo for us. It was a very great meryenda that we had.
Anyway, last night I dreamed of my dad and all I can remember was I was talking to him but I can't see his face. Not long enough, I woke up. I just I uttered " Happy Birthday, Dad". Wherever he is, I hope he is at peace now.
My SIL cooked this yummy pancit paired with bread and we also had Halo- halo for dessert. We all got stuffed!!
I guess I'm a little brave to show my desktop here. Anyway, I want you to take a peek at my messy desktop. As you can see I have lots of folders there and those are actually some of the digital scrapbooking kits that I bought or have downloaded as freebies.
I guess they have been staying there for quite a while now bec. I wasn't able to clean them up yet. I hope I will find time to put them on the right place.
Care for some Kamote Chips? Yumm.. this is one of my favorite for snack especially if there is lots of sugar in it. I know it's loaded with sugar and carbohydrates but how can you resist such a yum food? I love it especially when I paired it with ice cold COKE. Sugar Overload!! Come on let's have a snack!
I only get to knew about Gordon Ramsay, (British chef, restaurateur) when I was in Australia when I had my vacation there. Always saw him on his reality TV shows: Kitchen Nightmares, Hell's Kitchen and the F-Word that is aired in Australia. My Aussie BIL loves him and I when he is watching along my sister, I tried to watch to.
At first, I found him very rude because he always says the F word and especially when he insults and talk nasty to his students and other people. I guess that is natural for him and have no intentions of really hurting their feelings. He is outspoken, very frank, demanding and very critical when it comes to work. He is very good in what he is doing (cooking). Eventhough he is like that, he has a soft side too. You either hate him or love him. Actually, I miss him!
Vomiting, fever and headache, those are the things that my 11 yr. old nephew Dither complains about. My SIL and my bro already took him to his doctor and found out that he has tonsillitis. He has to absent himself from school today for he has a fever still. We are all worried abut him because he is always sick.
The bad thing is that he is a picky eater. He eats rice but doesn't like meat and veggies. He just wants it with soup only. Last year, he got sick of Dengue and has 50/50 chance of survival but thank God he survived it.Pls. say a prayer for his recovery this time.
Just in case you want to know what are the things or situations that I don't like then read on.
1. Nosy and bossy people 2. Waiting for people for so long 3. People who can't keep promises 4. People who borrow my things w/o returning it 5. Ironing clothes 6. Boring Sunday shows 7. Interference/Disturbance while I am working 8. Extreme cold and hot weather 9. Traffic jam 10. Corrupt politicians
If my friend Thea didn't buzz me about this, I don't have a way of knowing that there'll be a worldwide participation on Earth Hour. I guess not many of us care for the environment these days but I hope we'll participate on this good endeavor. Let's all do our part on March 28 for one hour. For more info read more atEARTH HOUR website.
I was so busy at my shop the other day when I noticed that someone is entering the door. I looked at a glance and I was so shocked to see my highschool friend Lourdes open the glass door. All I blurted was her name so loudly because I could not believe my eyes that I saw her.
Imagine after 25 long years, she came and visited me. We were friends way back in 4th year highschool and after graduation we have not seen each other. There are few instances when we were able to get in touch through text msg. but that was only lately. I was really shocked that she visited me and to think that she still remembers my store.
Anyway, we talked for hours trying to update us with what happened to our lives. Funny thing is that we are bought still single and that made us laugh so hard. It's been great to see her again and she promised me to come back again sometime.
Another busy day for me here because it's PC clean up. Every now and then I try to "Clean" our computers so that it will perform much better. Today I am trying too reformat one computer that is working very slow. I am guessing it must be because of some virus that might not be trapped by my anti-virus. I am glad that I learned howto reformat because that spared me P250-300 fee from my technician.
I also runned anti-virus, malwarebtyes and spybot on all of the computers. It caught some suspicious sypwares so I was able to delete them. I also deleted old customer's files like photos and more. Wishing that all of my computers will be spared from viris attack again.
I have been blogging since January 7th of 2005 and here is my VERY 1ST POST that I made on my very 1st blog that is hosted my bravejournal and it is still live. At first I am not too comfortable in sharing my thoughts but later on it already became my venue to share all of my thoughts, experiences and about anything.
Through my blog I gained lots of friends as well aside from keeping me company when I needed a "friend". I guess with all the years that I have been typing and hitting that publish button then I reckon I must have been really enjoying it.
I feel like blogging is really into my system now, a day or a week without posting makes me miss it. I know you have felt that at some point too. Oh well... I'll be blogging for more so watch out for my thoughts and ponderings. Have a great day everyone!
