Are You Ready for Christmas this Year?

It may sound a little bit early to think about the gifts, food and all other details for Christmas but for me, Christmas shopping has already started. I’m frivolous to shop for more this coming days as I am not yet done shopping. I still need to list down more names and think about what gifts are perfect for them. It can be a little difficult to know what they like but I’m positive that they will like all the gifts that they will receive from me because it’s a blessing, right?

For some of my girlfriends I already thought of giving some nice bracelets or necklaces. Since beading and colorful bracelets are in trend these days because of the arm candies together with over-sized watches I thought, I’d make them personalized bracelets. I already found the best bead wholesalers that has all the supplies that I need. I’m into beading before so making bracelets is not new to me. I just need to have a good eye in matching different kinds of beads or crystals so I can make nice ones. However, if I’m pressed for time making them, I also know where to buy bracelets and accessories at a whole sale price.

Ahh.. I can’t wait for Christmas. It’s the celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and along with that, giving and sharing our blessings to others are more enjoyable and meaningful a thousand folds.

During Christmas, kids all over the world are the happiest of all because they always know that Christmas is also synonymous to gifts. Opening their gifts at Christmas Eve and during Christmas day brings them a lot of joy that they all deserve. I just wish that all kids and family will be together this Christmas and those that are suffering and don’t have the means to celebrate will be blessed.

Family Birthday Celebrants

This month, many of my relatives celebrated their birthdays.
February 2 – 52nd birthday of my SIL
February 3-  52nd birthday of my oldest brother
February 13- 50th birthday of my older sister
February 21- 7th birthday of my niece

Wow, we have so many birthday celebrants and more to come on March. It’s always a tradition to have a spaghetti or any kind of noodles to eat for it was believed it was for long life. Even if they will be no party as long as we’ll have a small get together lunch or dinner is good enough.

Gifts are always welcome even if it just small like one of those birthday frames as long as it is given by heart and that all matters.

Gifts Galore

Kids were so excited to open the gifts they got from Santa on Christmas morning but it was our family tradition to open our exchange gifts after dinner time on Christmas day. Kids (but also adults) could not contain their excited to see what’s inside the wrapped gifts. My youngest niece would even find the gifts with her name written on it and then guard it ..lol She so funny! She would also try to guess what is the gift and would giggle with so much delight.

Christmas is a time for giving and even though there are times that money is hard, giving just a small present to each of us is already big enough. We don’t need too much expensive or glamorous gifts for what matters most is that you share and remember your loved one during Christmas day.

We’re looking forward for the next Christmas and I’m sure we’ll all enjoy opening them once again. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year all!

Have a Wonderful Christmas!

image

Hey all, 2 more days and it’s Christmas already. Are you done with your Christmas shopping and wrapping of gifts? If not, hurry up and do so. Though our country is experiecing yet another big disaster because of what typhoon SENDONG has done, that doesn’t stop us from celebrating Christmas. I’ll just be praying that all the provinces greatly affected by the disaster will stand on their feet back again.

May we also know the true meaning of Christmas. It’s not all about gifts and new toys/dresses etc. but it’s more about the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, spirit of giving and sharing, love and fun. Have a wonderful Christmas everyone!

Birthday Soon

Teeheee.. it's going to be my birthday next week and I'm kinda excited already. I'm not expecting any flowers ordered from proflowers online (but that would be awesome hehe!) and I'm not also giddy because I'm adding another number on my birthday. I’m actually excited because I’ll be going shopping again just like every year.

That is my day so I will enjoy and give myself some rewards. I’m not sure if I’m also going out with a friend or niece. Actually, I’m just thinking of shopping alone with no one in tow so I can go to any stores that I want without thinking someone if she’s bored or tired following me from there to there. Ahhh.. I can’t wait to shop! I just need to know what I want and need.

Are You Ready for Christmas?

Hmmm... I can somewhat smell Christmas right this moment. Christmas decors is almost everywhere, I can see twinkling lights on the streets and some home already and how can you not be giddy for Christmas when almost all are ready for Christmas.

I bet some of you are already making your shopping list or may have started buying some of the gifts this early. Why not? Buying gifts this early is proven to be more practical as malls still have lots of stocks on their items and have not marked up their prices yet. The grocery will also be filled with shoppers too for their holiday feast and stores will be packing and supplying stocks using their material handling gadgets. Ahhh.. I'm picturing crowded stores plus huge traffic on the streets. Oh well... it goes along with Christmas anyway.

Preparin' for the Holidays

Wow, it's more or less 73 days left and Christmas time once again. Actually, I have started ordering online some of my small gifts for some of my relatives and I'm very sure that it will arrive right in time for the holidays even though it will come from Hongkong. I have not thought of putting up a Christmas tree because it's too early yet but there are some who have already started to decorate their house.

I think I’m  making or ordering holiday cards online for I want to send personalized cards this year to my relatives most especially those that are already residing overseas. I know, some of you just prefer e-cards but I reckon it’ll be more special if they will receive physical Christmas cards.

What about you, have you started preparing for the holidays??

Royal Wedding Craze

To tell you the truth, aside from working and tweeting over online, I was glued on my sit watching the pre-Royal Wedding special and the ceremony itself. Our local TV network QTV 11 started their special around 3 pm and the TV was on till evening.

The wedding craze has spread like wildfire in the internet, social networking sites, newspapers and mostly on TV. It’s been days that I’ve been seeing and hearing about Prince William and Kate Middleton. The craze became wilder today at their wedding at the Abbey and just watching the event on TV made me excited as well.

Kate’s gown was simple yet elegant and timeless and she was beautiful though she was a little bit thin unlike before. Prince William is gorgeous as well but I think he needs a best hair loss treatment already, wink..wink.. as his hair is receding already. Their wedding is grand and of course it has captured the attention of millions of people around the globe and that includes me.

Hmm.. just thinking when will I meet my Prince William too? If ever he’ll not come then that would be fine… sob sob…

Fab Weddings

I was watching several wedding videos taken by wedding videographer, Jason Magbanua and viewing wedding photography of Nelwin Uy. I can't help but to admire their skills and be in awe of their work.

Here's one wedding that I find very nice. Cy and Kai's beach wedding was so beautiful and Boracay made it more special and memorable for them. I also love the pastel colored pinwheels & umbrellas, destination wedding dresses, the white sand and all. It's just so inspiring.

Watch the video by Jason Magbanua, so you'll know what I'm talking about.

I Missed the Fun

A highschool friend sent a message yesterday while I was busy with some works and going in and out of my computer shop to run some errands. She told me that a highschool classmate of ours came home from Japan for a brief vacation and ask them to be with him in a dinner at one of the restaurants.

They'll be going out for dinner and watch a band and she told me that she'll just text me the venue and the time later. Geesh, I didn't know that she was texting me and even called me on my cellphone that night asking me to come but too bad I didn't hear her text and call because my cellphone was inside my bag. It was only this morning when I saw her text and missed call.

Anyway, saw their photos at facebook and I got envy because I missed the fun. There are tons of food and the guys looked so full after eating their meal. I should have teased them that need best fat burners for men if they've eaten too much. I hope I can attend next time if there's another gathering and I just hope that they'll advise me ahead of time so I can prepare.

Holiday Rush

There’s so much going on these days in preparation for the holidays. I’m too busy with my Christmas shopping, attending parties and thinking of what to serve for my family on Christmas eve and day and I’m sure you’re also doing the same. I have done with my shopping and I’m sure my family will cherish the presents that I have for them as I bought and picked it with love.

Anyway, I hope you all have a great Christmas and we may all know the true meaning of it.

Parties Left and Right

Teeheee… it’s the 1st day of December today and that only means that only 24 days more and it’s Christmas day already. I’m almost done with my Christmas shopping and soon I’ll be wrapping them. Parties will be left and right once again I’m sure that I’ve been receiving lots of invitations already. This will be a great time to meet friends and relatives for gift giving or just to bond together.

A lot of food and drinks will be served for us to enjoy but we need to know that if you’re going to drive home from parties you better not get drunk or else you’ll going to put yourself and others on the road in danger. Also, if you’re in state of Texas, law enforcers are strict with DWI ((drinking while intoxicated) and if you’re caught drunk or under the influence of alchohol, you’ll end up hiring Houston DWI lawyers to defend you for your misdemeanor.

So be safe when attending parties and gatherings this coming holiday.

Season of Eating

Christmas is not only a season for gift giving, shopping and merry making as it is also a season of eating. Left and right there will be Christmas parties, reunions and get together and that only means that lots of food will be served.

It's a time for people who loves to eat, indulge and drown themselves with foods. They have every reason not to diet because they'll make this season as a good excuse not to watch what they eat. The best fat burner available in the market will be their best friend once they realized that they have eaten enough and their waist has ballooned once again.

I can't wait for more parties and gatherings coming soon for I know that more friendships and love will surface once again.

Grand Wedding to Remember

Mom was invited to attend a wedding last weekend and she's so excited to let me know that it was one magical and solemn wedding. She went with my SIL and my brother and fortunately the church and the reception was just near our place. It was a formal wedding wherein all are advised to wear formal dress for women and long sleeves or barong for men but there are some who wore men's polo shirts maybe bec. they have no formal shirt to use. Aside from that, no kids were invited except for the flower girls and ring bearers.

Since the couple will be flying back to UK after the wedding, it was noted in the invitation that they'd gladly accept cash as their gifts. I reckon this is a practical thing to do since they can't bring the gifts when they live. I saw some picture of the wedding at Facebook and wow the reception was decorated with different fresh flowers, which I heard were decorated by the bride's friends from Manila Hotel.

Get Together Party

My sister from Riyadh is in the country right now for a vacation. It was last June 30 when she invited her former elementary and highschool classmates for a small get together party here at my brother's place. We prepared lots of food most of them are barbeque pork and chicken plus some other viands.

It was about 8 pm when guests arrived and of course they were so excited to see each other after so many years. Some have changed so much in their appearance as what my sister has noted that others need to lose weight hehe. What do you expect, they are in their 50's already so they are all old now. They had fun as I have seen in their photos that my sister posted at her facebook account.

2010 Election Finished

It’s the National Elections day yesterday at our country and what makes it special is that it is our first automated elections. I wake up early yesterday morning and tuned in my TV to news and special coverage regarding the elections. It was pretty exciting to watch the very first precincts to open at 7 am and voters to cast their votes early.

Many are excite dto vote this year and in the mornings though there are some instances where the PCOS machines are not working but the BEI managed to make it work later on. There are also reports of isolated violence in some parts of the Phils. where some were left dead because of election related incident. Anyway the election ended also at 7 pm and hopefully we can know the winners by tomorrow.

Happy Mother's Day

MothersDay48

To all the mommies out there, it's your special day today and I hope you are having a grand time with your family. We had a simple celebration today at my brother's place, the food is overflowing but I failed to take photos bec. it slipped my mind maybe because I'm too hungry already.

My mom is 77 already and eventhough she already needed some wrinkle creams, many still say that she didn't look at her age. She is also a bit active compared to her other friends and former classmates the same age as her. I just wish her good health and that is what I'm always praying for bec. lately she's been a little sick. The weather is just making it worst but I hope she'll be healthy all these years.

Weddings Like No Other

Every woman deserves a beautiful wedding. I remember witnessing weddings of my siblings, friends and other relatives and it always make me giddy to see them tie the knot. I also had one of those days when I just day dream and think about how lovely bride I can be with my white gown and with my groom on my side. It's a dream that I still keep but I guess it's slowly fading away and I'm not desperate or down if that will not happen these days. Of course I envy those couples who are so in love during their wedding.

While some couple still want the traditional weddings, some wanted a whole new experience with their destination weddings. Embarking on one of those destination weddings on a beach front with waves as your background and birds flying over you or you tying the knot under the sunset with all your loved ones, ahhhh pure bliss.. Those kind of experiences can be offered by Karisma Hotels as I have read. Couples will have an endless choices over their wedding packages.

Yay, Christmas is Fast Approaching!!

It’s weekend once again and I can’t help but to think about shopping especially now that Christmas is fast approaching. Actually I am having a little bit of trouble making my shopping list this year because I end up listing more gifts for myself. Now that’s selfish but of course I will not do that.

I’ll need to think about what to give to my family and of course they expect me to give them a gift since they know that my blessing are slowly pouring in. Sure I will share it to them. I also remember the days when I receive business gifts from my suppliers on my former business. I miss those days when I get clocks, umbrellas, pins and more. Gone where the days though. I better make my list soon because days are flying so fast as I have noticed.
