I opened the TV about few minutes ago to watch a Saturday morning show only to read the headlines that Former Pres. Cory Aquino Dies of Cardio Respiratory Arrest at 76 this morning of August 1. I jumped into my bed and I wanted to relay that news to my mom but she already is watching the special coverage on TV.

The whole Phils. will be mourning for her. A great woman with good soul and spirit has left us. May she rest in peace.!

Wow it was really a sad news to hear this on the news. Former Pres. Corazon (Cory) Aquino is fighting for her life. She is battling stage four colon cancer and now all her friends, relatives and family are deeply praying for her. Mass are held in different churches dedicated to her speedy recovery.

It was also very unusual to see Kris Aquino not being vibrant when she hosts last Sunday's show "The Buzz". The family is not sharing more details about Cory as they want to keep it private. Let us just hope that she will recover.
