I have always admired my mom for being generous and giving to all of us, her children. There are times that I know that she is giving so much already and spoiling one of my brother. She is quick to his rescue and often tells me that we should give to those that need and every time I hear that I'll just shut my mouth and erase my enviousness. Mom is always helpful to the point that she's almost abused and always leaned on everytime but I know how mothers are, they just can't take for granted a child in need.

Aside from that, our helper, who's been with us for over a decade already also receives blessing from mom from time to time. He is working at a construction site but since he can't find construction jobs these days, mom are ready to call him to work some few things in the house. Just like today, he is called to clean the backyard, check on our roof and other minor house maintenance just to give him a little job. When he's about to leave, food, rice and money are given as well. I hope I can be as generous as my mom.

One year, when I was a child, we traveled through the midwest. My Dad was headed to a new job and I remember thinking how flat things were; nothing but prairies. We woke up one evening in the backseat of the car, and discovered we were actually driving in a town. We hadn’t seen any towns in a while and this was a real treat. The only thing I knew about Gary, Indiana was a song from the Music Man that my parents sang. This town did not look like what I remembered on the screen, but at least it was a town.

Lately, I've been thinking about a lot of things. There are thoughts that I need to think of a new business that I can get into since this net cafe that I have right now is not lucrative anymore. It's still in operation and sad to say that only few customers are coming in due to steep competition here in the neighborhood. It was a busy day for all us. Mom is still in the hospital and we're taking turns on taking care of her. I did lots of errands this morning after sleeping at the hospital with mom last night. Lots of family stuff did occupied my day and I was like a ping pong ball being thrown left and right. Oh well at least that's a good exercise for me and I'll set aside reading diet pill reviews for now.

I will come back at the hospital tonight and hope to catch a good sleep and rest but with the new semi-private room after that we got, I know my sleep with just be half baked.

I wanted to replace my Nokia phone, which is actually an old phone of my brother-in-law. My sister saved it and gave it to me about 3 years ago when I had my vacation in Sydney. It was just an ordinary and very basic phone (w/o camera) so the features that I can only do with it are: text, call and play common games.

When iPhone was introduced in the market and everyone seems to be buying one like my sister Joy and lots of my friends, it also came to my mind that if ever I'm going to replace my phone, I better choose iPhone over others. I heard all the amazing apps and features that it has and since I also had the chance to tinker on my sister's iPhone, I reckon it's pretty exciting to have one too in the future. If by chance I'm ready to buy an iPhone, it's accessories and iphone insurance, I hope the price is so much more affordable already.For now, it'll just remain an iPhone dream.

Saturday is always the day where my SIL usually do their laundry. Since she is too meticulous when it comes to how their clothes are washed most especially the white uniforms of her kids, she decided not to hire a laundry woman to do the job. She wants to do it by herself so that she'll sure it is clean according to her standards.

She's a semi-SAHM mom because she also works twice a week in the office and don't have a househelp so she has no other choice but to do all the house chores. With all the mommy duties that she needs to fulfill, sometimes it leaves her with aching joints and muscles and might already need a msm supplement or increase her calcium intake to keep her going. I've been watching Survivor Phils. Celebrity Showdown since it started and I must say that they are having a hard time in the island. The worst part in the island is that the mosquitoes are biting them and it's always raining. Oh well that's whole point of the game where you need to survive in the island without good shelter, food and other stuff. You have to work, play and think hard to survive. It's not just physical but mind game as well. You need to outwit and be in alliance with co-players.

Last night, the challenge for immunity was very hard and with 26 kilos of sand on Elma's shoulders she quits after about 45 mins. standing in the raining and carrying that heavy stuff. Their team lost so that means that they don't have immunity and will not have food for the night while the other tribes had some pork and rice for dinner.

With little or no food in the island, I guess that's the best weight loss pills that they can have. Those that have weak tolerance for hunger and cold are already crying but still surviving and hoping to win the 3-million peso prize.

My birthday is coming soon and I can't wait for it to come. Though it'll mean another year added to my age but it's ok. I want to shop once again just like what I'm doing every year, it's the time where I can indulge and shop endlessly because it's my birthday and I have the license to do that. To get me started I already purchased a watch (yes again!) from an online friend. Though I have not paid for it yet and it was not yet sent to me, I'm already getting excited because it's my very 1st Armani watch! teehee!

I'm also set on buying new jeans, blouses, shoes and even lingerie but no plus size lingerie for me please because I'm just petite. Anyway, I'm itching to shop already and I hope that the company I'm working for will send the payments very soon so I have a mucho budget.

I've always admired my niece Kath who seems so focused on her studies at the top university here in the country. She's taking up Film course and on her 4th year already. I seldom see her because her class schedule was so hectic that there are times she came home midnight already due to film shootings and all. One weekend, I was fortunate to spoke to her and told her that hope she's making good at her studies and she happily told me that she's still on their Dean's list and if God permits she's vying for an honor come graduation.

Ahhhh what a relief and a nice news to hear from her. I was deeply praying and hoping that she'd excel and get a decent and good job after graduation so as to give a little comfort to her parents. I know she is determined and wishing that God will guide her on her studies and her decisions. What makes me more happy is that she's applying for a scholarship in the US, I guess for further studies and to hone more of her knowledge in film making.

If that will push through by God's will then that's once great opportunity for her. I'm not quite sure if she's going to take the SAT test wherein some students in the US will study sat prep and take the exams prior to college admission.I just really wish that she'll succeed in her studies and chosen career.

My bestfriend has been in the workforce for many years now and with lots of prayers she finally decided to leave her 9-5 work last year. I think she made the right decision to quit her job since she is not happy with it anymore. Since she’s also working online, it’s also a good opportunity for her to concentrate on it and at the same time she can also take care of her family.

Staying at home while working is a big responsibility and I often hear from her that she needs to attend to a meeting at her children’s school, buy them some school stuff, errand here and there. I think she’s busier right now but I know she enjoys it. She can also manage their finances well unlike when she’s working in the office and there are times she can save a little for their children’s future.

This discovery sparked an interest in the technique and by l865 a system of growing plants in aqueous solution was developed. This technique is known as Solution Culture. It is still used to grow plants using a variety of solutions.

One of the most ardent promoters of hydroponic systems was Professor William Gericke. He started researching the techniques of solution culture at University of Columbia and by 1929, made his research public. He is also credited for coining the name “Hydroponic “for his system of soil less agriculture in 1937. His ideas became very popular after the publication of his book “Complete Guide to Soilless Gardening” in 1940.

I always admire men who dress up and carry themselves well. They need not wear expensive clothing because a simple and neat one has greater impact to me. We all know that most men don’t really enjoy shopping at the mall especially when they are with their wives. Valuing education is something that my mother has instilled in us. She said that education is their greatest gift that they can give to us and I always get sad whenever I could hear kids not finishing their studies or don’t want to study anymore. They are just wasting the opportunity to study that some people wants to do.

I can’t forget those summer days when we’re so engrossed in preparing clothes for our dolls. We were excitedly dressing up our dolls for fashion show and we’re making sure that my doll will win in the show. Of course clothes and accessories were handmade only by my Mom and Auntie but we’re so happy with what we have then.

Now as I browse online for doll clothing I was amazed at the wide variety of beautiful dresses, sports clothes, skirts, socks, accessories and other clothing. It was so easy to dress your doll now with those pretty clothes and accessories. And when you’re finished with the clothes you’ll have to find some 18 inch doll shoes to complete the attire. It was like in the old days when we’ll find appropriate shoes for the dress worn by our dolls. Since we’re in the modern days there are clogs, canvas mules, sneakers, tennis shoes and many others. It’s like going back to those old childhood days and now I feel better reminiscing my memorable years with my family and siblings. Guess I’ll just call my niece to pick some items from there. I would want her to have some of those nice things for her doll.

I’ve been watching some shows lately and getting some rest from my online tasks. I want to watch some documentary shows rather than horrible news because I had enough last week. My friend also told me not to watch sad story news when I’m sick because that would aggravate my condition more. I have many works waiting for me but I just have a mood of eating and watching TV. I’m also entitled to some rest don’t you think so? Well I’ve seen some news about education getting expensive these days and I thought of my nephew who was so lucky to have passed the entrance exam of a good school funded by the government. These two sections are categorized scholars because the other sections came from specific area. My nephew really studied hard in the past and it wasn’t a surprise when he passed it.

Good thing for my brother because they wouldn’t have a problem with money now because they only have one kid studying with tuition fees. With the recent happenings in our country we’ll be going through tough times and economy will be struggling.
