3:00 AM

Boo.. it's 3:22 am and I'm already awake. That's a miracle!!

This is my very first time work at this hour. After my net connection got busted (AGAIN!) last night at around 10 pm, I decided to just sleep and just wake up early to continue my work. The heavy rains caused my net connection to be cut and since I have no control over that, my patience is needed. That that makes sense,? sorry my brain is still zzzzzzzleeping... lol

I woke up at around 1;30 am, watched Music Uplate Live TV show at Ch. 2 and thought I'll go back to sleep right after that but I can't. So I just decided to get up and do some works. I'm having my coffee right now and I hope it will wake up my senses and my brain as well.

Clean Up

Mom just asked our helper to clean up our storage room at our backyard once again in. It seems that some little creatures, I mean cockroaches are breeding there already. It's kinda filthy already when mom discovered a part of the wall is not in shape as well.

I told mom to move all the things outsdie and just chuck all the old stuff that are not usable and will not be use anymore so that there'll be more space for new things. There are lots of old toys, broken furniture and even binocular that needed to be thrown or given to someone that can still use it.

Those good ones will be saved and stored while some will also be included in our garage sale come December.

Saving Mode

I’m in a saving mode these days and eventhough there are many tempting sale online and at my fave malls I’m still trying to control myself not to shop. It’s pretty easy to splurge or spend our money on material things but oh my goodness it’s hard to earn it. My job requires a lot of patience, hard work and sometimes I have to stay up late just to finish some of my online tasks.

I’m saving for a lot of reasons eventhough I don’t have my own family. I wanted to invest in the future or have new business aside from what I have. Who knows I might even buy gold eagle coins and other precious metals and sell in at a higher price if I can. But before I can step into that industry I have to check out sites that are dedicated in that kind of investment

A Blogger Now

My older sister knows that I'm blogging and even monetizing all of my blogs and since then she became curious on how it works and how I was able to get some moolah out of it. When she here for vacation last month, she has lots of free time and she asked me to teach her how to blog.

She learned it quite fast and even asked her to make a post on one of my task but since she is not used to it yet, I just edited the article that she made for me. Right now she has her own blog and domain now. She just needs to blog more so that she 'll get use to it and in not time she can also monetize it.

Like a shining star, you have no trouble being the center of attention.
In fact, you often feel a bit hurt when all eyes aren't on you.
You need to be number one in everything, no matter how trivial.
And it's this unhealthy sized ego that both hurts your confidence and helps you achieve.

You're dramatic and a powerhouse of pure energy.
You possess a divine quality or uniqueness that's hard to define.
A natural performer, it's likely you'll become famous in some circles.
Just learn not to take everyone's reaction to you so personally!

Could Legalizing Drugs Decrease Drug-Related Crime?

The current drug laws in the United States have created a system that imprisons individuals who should be receiving medical treatment. The laws have, essentially, turned an illness into a crime. Unfortunately for the addict and the rest of society, these laws do not provide the level of protection that prevents drug abusers from committing actual crimes such as breaking and entering, theft, and robbery. Somewhat ironically, decriminalizing drug use could reduce the amount of crime that takes place in conjunction with addiction.

How is this possible? When an addict is arrested for drug possession, he or she is sent to jail with individuals who have committed much more heinous crimes. This creates a community for the addict that consists of thieves, rapists, and murderers. By defining drug use and possession as an illegal activity akin to crimes that affect other people, our legal system creates a criminal identity for addicts who might not otherwise participate in these activities.

Once released from jail, though, the addicts have acquired new insights into how they can scour through people’s homes and businesses in search of money to pay for drugs. They, therefore, begin breaking into buildings, where they will search in your closet, through your cabinets, and under your double bed for money that they can use to fuel their habits.

If the legal system consistently gave addicts the opportunity to enroll in treatment programs, this criminal reality could change dramatically. Addicts who are given treatment are less likely to return to drug use upon release. They are, therefore, less likely to commit crimes to pay for drugs.

This is not to say that drug-related crime would disappear completely. Differentiating between drug possession and other crimes, however, would have a real impact on the amount of crimes that affect the lives of average people who are often targeted by criminals.

Slip into a Fabulous Dress

You wear jeans, T-shirts and athletic shoes, simply because you can throw on this wardrobe and get out the door fast. Soccer practice, music lessons, and grocery shopping fill up your day, every day. If you've been hoping to find a comfortable and feminine alternative to the jean-routine, try one of the soft, casual dresses in every length and size from extra small to extra large. A summer dress, a spring print strapless, or a long fall maxi dress will give you confidence when you step into a restaurant with your spouse. If you're going on a trip, slip these versatile dresses into your bag for a polished look at family gatherings and tourist attractions.

You'll find a variety of dress prints in every color and fit for many occasions with flattering styles to fit any figure. Don't cling to those rough, worn jeans as your only option; instead, slink into a flirty dress with lacy flourishes, or a leopard print to put the growl back into your spouse's throat. You'll feel and look your best in a short, racer-back dress just right for a leisurely stroll through the art gallery or museum. Don an antique floral design for browsing book stores and visiting the local wine-tasting party. Any way you look at dresses, you'll never stop at buying one when your spouse whistles at your legs.

You can trust the quality, so if you're ready to look runway gorgeous, check out the frocks to choose your style and color. Don't get caught up in the same old clothes everyday routine, get stylish with a change in wardrobe and add one of the sexy black dresses to your wardrobe today. You'll look chic for every occasion and the attention you'll get won't be bad either!

It's Back!

..yey!!! My internet connection that is !!

I've been netless for almost 2 weeks here at the house after Storm Basyang and I thought the antenna must have snapped after the strong winds passed us. Saw that there's no power at my net adaptor when I tried to connect to the net :(. Mom complained at Smart's office 2x after my effort in calling them at their hotline fails.

Been ringing their hotline since this morning but still I can't get through. Luckily the technician called this afternoon saying that they're going to fix my net. I hurriedly went home to assist them and boom only few mins. I got my net again after they changed the adaptor.

Now, I have more reasons to be online and to stay up late once again. No more sleepover at my shop anymore. Ihope!

Popular Personal Number Plates

If you’re the type of a person who loves getting lots of attention everywhere you go, for sure having personalised plates numbers will definitely suit your personality. Personal Number Plates are very popular these days and I guess you have noticed some cars having some unique names or numbers in their plates. Having these kinds of plate numbers can grab attention and can be fun as well. I’m sure you’ll love the added attention that you can get when you have such plates. It’s another way of showing your personality and self expression. With a little amount of money, any owners can flaunt their cars with their names, birthdate etc. in their car plates.

There are quite a lot of companies that are offering personalised plates online and you’ll have the liberty to choose among their collection that you’ll like. Just take your time in choosing the plates that you want because the possibilities are endless.

While there are some plates that are priced high, there are also affordable plates that any vehicle owners can avail. I even read that some enterprising individuals are getting those unique and limited edition plates so that they can sell them at high price in the future. Cool huh?

Living in Style

If only we can all live in a peaceful place and a beautiful home then I guess things will all be perfect. For newly wed couples just one of their dreams is to own a house where their new family can live and enjoy. Building a home can be daunting for some while scouring for a place perfect for your lifestyle can be easy especially if it’s in Fawn Lake, Virginia.

Living in style can be achievable, to get you started you can check out the new homes for sale Virginia and simply be amazed with the great location, amenities, lakeside retreats and their famous course.

Ready for the Rainy Days

Rainy days are here again and we’ll be expecting lots of typhoons this year. In fact, big storms already came in and just about 2 weeks ago Storm Basyang showed her might. It has very strong winds that caused some of our small trees to fall and our internet’s satellite line to snap on its place. There’s no electric power for 23 hours in our area that we actually didn’t expect.

After that incident, my mom called also our helper to clean the gutters in our roof for lots of leaves and other debris got stock during that storm. Mom also asked our helper to check on the leak on my bedroom’s roof and had it fixed.

Now we are ready for the rainy days and we just hope that no more big storms will come in. Just in case you need some roofing materials, check out Ondura for they have wide range of products to choose from.

Capturing Memories Through Photography

I love photos and if my memory serves me right, when I was still in highschool which was over 2 decades ago, my love for taking pictures started it all. During that time, film was still in use and you still need to scroll a button to take another picture.

Cameras and photography has evolved since and right now I have my own DLSR and point & shoot camera to take photos. If I have lots of time, I just grab my camera and take photos of things that interest me. Digital photography is a hobby that I enjoyed though I’m just novice and still learning. If given the time, I also wanted to enroll myself in a photography class. Some of my works are printed in a photobook that I can show them to family and friends.

I always admire photographers who have good eye on things and can convert simple objects to a beautiful photo. David Proett, a wedding photographer Richmond area is a good inspiration as he can capture memories for all types of occasions and events. Check out some sample photos at his site and be inspired.

Importance of Cars

These days, we can already consider having a car as a necessity rather than just pure luxury. I know not every individual or family can afford to buy one but for those that require going out frequently due to work or business, owning one can be advantageous in the long run.

Just imagine all the hours that you’ll be spending just to catch a bus, train, jeepney or other means of transportation when in fact you can already use the hours wasted in being productive. Add the tremendous traffic and your day will be gone in blink.

Hiring a vehicle can be expensive as well so if you have the means, save money so you can buy your dream mitisbuhi, or honda. And if you already have a car and seeking for more styles why not check out this mini Fiat. There are great reviews online about this three-door hatchback. Hybrid cars are also getting good raves because of their aerodynamics and stylish looks.

Over Protective

I know every parent will do their best to protect their children at all times but being over protective can also do harm to their children.

Let me share a little story. It was snack time this afternoon and my nephew who is already almost 12 years old ( 1st yr. highschool) was on the other computer and I thought of asking him to buy me a drink at a nearby store. His mom heard it and told me, "ay  'wag, ako na lang ang bibili" (no, i will just buy it). I asked her how come? She said he might stumble on his way. Oh my goodness! How can he learn?

To tell you the truth, I can't even recall an instance where he ride a jeepney  or go to the store for an errand all by himself.  At his age, he needs to grow up. But in fairness to his parents, they've been encouraging him to do things on his own but the poor kid is till afraid bec. he's been shielded all these years.

I just hope he'll learn to be more courageous and independent.

The Right To Privacy

We all have the right to privacy and once it is violated, we have all the right to file lawsuit. No bank, credit card company or any credit reporting company or any institution where we have our personal and credit information stored have the right to share or even sell these info to marketing companies.

TransUnion, a credit reporting company faced enormous cases in the US bec. they are found to have sold credit information to marketing companies which is totally illegal and direct violation of Federal Credit Reporting Act in the US. Those that have been affected with credits between 1987 and 2000 can file TransUnion Lawsuit in court.

Busy Indeed

Wow opps are pouring in and I'm so thankful for that. Now I need to finish them today so that I can relax tomorrow. Right now, my blogging mojo is still flowing and my mind's still ok. I',m wishing that I'll have more hands and brains so that I can finish in a swift.

I know my blogger friends are also working hard these days. Thanks Lord for all the blessings.

I'm 47% Real

You're pretty real with people, but you can't help hiding a good part of yourself.
You're not truly happy with who you are at times... and believe it or not, it shows.
Try not to hide parts of your life from the people who matter to you.
Your friends and family are probably a lot more accepting than you realize!

A Smart Move

In the recent year, we have seen how the world suffers financially and it's not surprising anymore if some investors are thinking twice in shelling out their money when it comes to investing. The stock market has been up and down as well as forex and that is not so much good to some investors.

Some investors are still trying to find ways invest and they see gold, silver and other precious metals worth investing so they see this as a good opportunity. Silver is also highly in demand and is also versatile just like gold. Investing in them can be done and you can buy silver bullion and other forms at US Gold Bureau where you can find lots of collection.

Get into Arts and Craft

Our family is into arts and crafts and it’s our way of expressing ourselves. Different members of our family are into different things such as oil painting on canvass, digital photography, digital scrapbooking, film making, web designing and cross-stitching. We all enjoy what we are doing and in fact my older bro even received recognitions and prizes for his winning entries in painting competitions. I think it is important that we all have at least one hobby, it is a great de-stressor and a great chance to express some creativity. So I encourage everyone to find a hobby that you love.

There are so many different hobbies that you can get interested in. One very creative hobby is pottery. The increase in the number of colorful glazes and the different clays available can result in some very unique and beautiful ceramic products. If you have an interest in pottery and ceramics, AMACO/Brent is a great website to go to for all of your pottery needs. They carry many different clays, glazes, and potting tools. They sell handy items like a ware cart, used to transport or store your products, potter's wheels for those interested in wheel throwing and slab rollers to flatten the clay to a consistent thickness. AMACO/Brent is one of the leading suppliers of quality crafts and pottery supplies in the US and they have actually many dealers around the country where you can find these supplies. Students can also learn from their craft lessons.

AMACO/Brent is a one-stop shop for ceramic, crafts and pottery supplies. While browsing their site I also learned that artists, teachers, students, professional potters, and craft artists can gather together in a social networking community. This is a very good venue for them to share their tips, ideas, creations and more.

Sometimes We Need to Take Risk

Sad to say that I've never been an adventurous person maybe because I have this certain notion that I will fail and I can’t do it. I know it’s not a good perception but that is almost always that comes first to my mind. Business wise, I have some friends, who are encouraging me to enter into the franchising and without me even testing or researching about it, I immediately turned it down. I guess I only know myself too well and because that is not my forte.

I have known some investors who are always taking some risks and always on the open minded to lots of business possibilities. There are those who buy gold coins at US Gold Bureau and with the looks of it, it looks like a good investment.

Back to Work

After 23 hours of no electricity, I'm finally back on line and at work. I almost felt crazy yesterday because I wasn't able to use the net hehe and I have nothing to do. So boring and so tiring to wait for hours laying on the bed or reading magazines. What I'm worried most about is  my pending works that needs to be submitted, some didn't make it but others did. I just hope no more blackout and big storms that will come but I doubt it.

I'm just praying that nothing major disaster will happen these rainy seasons. I have to stay here at my shop till night because I have no net at home. I'll be working here for sure.

Personalize Your License Plates

If you are a fan of the Beatles you might try "FAB 4". Prefer the music of Bono? Then "UUU 222" would be the way to go. Personalized license plates are an excellent way to make a statement each and every time you take the car out of the garage. For a fee, you can purchase personal number plates from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA); they offer a wide variety of combinations. However, it should be noted: the DVLA in the United Kingdom (UK) limits the use of language that may be considered offensive or sexually suggestive. Of course, if one can stay in the realm of general taste, the only limit is your imagination.

Custom plates add flair to your vehicle and are becoming increasingly popular. They are most common on high priced sports cars and sedans made by companies like Porsche and BMW. An owner of a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano chose “222 NICE" when registering for his plates. Other examples of vanity plates that represent how people feel about their cars include; "2FAST4U," "2QIK4U," "DEPECHE" (French for fast), and "IT XLR8S" (it accelerates). Even businesses have realized the utility of custom plates – they can be a marketing tool.

Interestingly, the most popular prestige plates are sold at auction. A plate that reads "VIP 1" sold for 285,000 pounds to businessman Roman Abramovich, the owner of Chelsea FC. Other plates that have brought a high price include ones used in the movies on cars that belonged to James Bond, like his Aston Martin with the plate "BMT 216K" in the movie Goldfinger.

The DVLA currently reports that it has more than 20 million possible plate number and letter combinations for sale. Due to increasing popularity, licensing agencies now recommend reserving plate numbers now as gifts for future birthdays, anniversaries or other special occasions.

Seek Your Passion

Everyone of us is seeking our passion in life. For many they already found it via beauty. I have always admired people who have good skills on making others feel and look beautiful. From hairstylist, make-up artists and fashion consultants, they have a good eye on beauty and they can easily transform a dull to fab look. Others are born with that skills and I believe others still need to hone their crafts to master it.

Beauty and cosmetology schools are perfect place to gain more knowledge since some of the techniques and tips can be learned in an institute like Regency. With more than 50 years in the business they have been expanding and growing ever. Their Jascksonville school in FL, is open to all students who are eager to learn more about the craft.

True..

everything_happens_for_a_reason_quote-3444So true but sometimes we don't understand why things happened the way we don;t want it to happen.

Extensive Selection of Home Plans

My cousin just recently built their new house which is not far from us. It is not yet finished but they have already moved in as the water and electricity service have been installed. My cousin got married few years back and they lived with his wife's parents at first before renting an apartment. They were trying to save as much money as they could while living with the parents, and then renting was financially draining, so they decided to go ahead and have their home built. They will complete it as the money is available to them.

Since my cousin is in training to be an architect he was able to draw up their house floor plan making sure that it was designed in the way they wanted and with the space his growing family would need. His supervisor finalized the plans and then the house was built. Building a home can be exciting, but as my cousin found it can also be time consuming with all the planning that needs to be done. Usually you have an idea in your mind on how you want your house to look and you share that with an architect who then draws up the home plans according to your ideas and also according to building requirements and specifications.

Friday Frustration: Poor Bank Customer Service

I was having a conversation with my sister just this morning and we are talking about the problem that we are having at a local bank that we have. Up to now the problem is not yet resolved yet to think it was just a simple bank statement that we are asking at that incompetent and with bad service bank.

I requested a bank statement last Dec. 2009 and would you believe they gave me a wrong statement after 3 long months! I've been going to the bank back and forth to complain and oh my goodness it was not resolved. I'm so irked, irritated and mad already. The bank manager is useless, just plain useless!!

It seems that the main branch don;t have our transaction from June - Dec 2009 and that is impossible. Arghhh.. I don;t know what else to say but we are really pissed off. My sister will follow up our complaint and request for the ___th time.

Vet Appointment

I looked over the "dog book" of Sophie and I saw that another injection is scheduled by Sunday (July 11) so I need to bring her to the vet once again. Last month, I had her injected for her re-deworming and this time is for anti-ticks which the vet said is every 3 months. I hope she will not be infested with fleas anymore just like last year. My dog Sophie has completed all her immunizations and that includes anti-rabies. I have to be a responsible pet owner and also to protect ourselves if accidentally she bits us.

My mom told me that it looks like I have a real baby because having a dog is expensive as well. From the immunizations alone it can break your wallet hehe. I even told mom that my dog has an expensive shampoo and been taking vitamins while I don't lol. I even can't buy myself a best wrinkle cream and get my hair dyed, yay! Poor me!

I love my dog eventhough she is way too playful at times. She brings smile to my face everytime I see and cuddle her.

Exhausted

Wow.. what a very tiring day! I'm gasping for air right now, sure this heat makes me more exhausted and tired. Been working on the digi-kit that I'll be uploading at artscow for almost 2 weeks already and it was finished already but just tweaking some few elements on it. I'm also making some quickpages and samples and that's eating my time. I hope I can finish more by Saturday.

I have also lots of online works that just came today and I was able to make few this morning and hoping to add more before I sleep tonight. I'm really really thankful for these blessings because if not I'm not sure where will I get the money to pay the bills bec. my net cafe is not doing well these days. I'm also thankful because I was able to go shopping last Sunday in Greenhills and got myself some loots. I forgot to look for some rocawear but I ended up with some nice blouse and shoes.

I'm sure when I go home tonight, I'll be going straight at my bedroom to rest before going to eat my dinner. Yay.. I need some energy!

Somewhat Approachable

There are times when people see me as not approachable person because I don't smile all the time and I have this sharp look but once they get to talk to me they say that I'm not what they think hehe. Here's a quiz that I took and the results say that I'm somewhat approachable.
You are a fairly friendly person, and you're definitely not scaring people away.
You do tend to have your guard up strangers, and rightfully so.
How approachable you are depends on who is trying to approach you.
You're friendly to people who seem harmless and nice. But you also know how to give creepy people the cold shoulder!

Back to the Gym

My sister B is back to the gym once again. A nearby gym was opened everyday so every 7 pm she makes sure she'll attend her class. I know she's taking advantage of her free time since she's only be here for about a month taking a break from work in Riyadh. For sure when she's back in Saudi, she'll have no more time to exercise because of too much work load.

She went to the grocery yesterday and it seems that she really wanted to lose weight once again as I can see loads of wheat breads and veggies in the pantry again. There's nesvita fiber drink, low fat milk, wheat bread, cereals and more. Maybe if she'll see a new weight loss product , probably she'll try on it as well. She's cutting her rice intake as well so I'm sure she'll shed off some weight before she leaves.

Cured

I remember few months ago my sis Joy emailed me some photos of her daughter M. She wanted to show me how bad M's face looked when she got those nasty acne on her face. I was in shock to see her rough face bec. of those acne and I will not wonder anymore why she's bugging her mom to accompany her to the dermatologist.

Thankfully, after months of consultation, taking oral medication and using acne treatment cream, her face slowly went back to normal. I guess her hormones acted so weird during her teenage years and now fortunately there are not so much scars that left because it was treated early.

Tiring Day

I came home so tired last night that I went straight to my bedroom to rest for a while. My back is kinda aching and I feel that I'm gasping for air. Thankfully, after 30 mins of rest, I was able to get up and had my dinner. I didn't eat that much because I'm already full. I even told my bro that I think I only have a very small intestine because I got so full that easily. He jokingly told me that it's better because I will not get fat and I'd not ever think of any clinicallix to take.

Anyway, I guess I have some problems in my digestion because most of the times I'm experiencing bouts of dyspepsia that makes me so uncomfortable.

New President, New Hope

Now that we have a new Pres. inaugurated last June 30, I'm very sure many are optimistic about the new changes that Pres. Noynoy Aquino can bring to our country. I also wish that there'll be more jobs created for those that need it, prime commodity prices should be more stable, less corrupt govt. officials and lots more.

I'm positive that Pres. Aquino will do his best to keep his promise but for sure the result will not be overnight. Probably around 2-3 years we should already see major changes. I hope he'd also look into social security disability programs for people and more ways on how he can alleviate poverty in this country. Eventhough I didn't vote for him, I'm still giving my trust and support.

Get Together Party

My sister from Riyadh is in the country right now for a vacation. It was last June 30 when she invited her former elementary and highschool classmates for a small get together party here at my brother's place. We prepared lots of food most of them are barbeque pork and chicken plus some other viands.

It was about 8 pm when guests arrived and of course they were so excited to see each other after so many years. Some have changed so much in their appearance as what my sister has noted that others need to lose weight hehe. What do you expect, they are in their 50's already so they are all old now. They had fun as I have seen in their photos that my sister posted at her facebook account.

Hard Habit to Break

Cough.. cough.. cough..

Pweee.. smells awful. I really hate cigarette smoke. I often found myself telling my brothers to quit smoking or else they'll end up like our dad you died at a very young age. They often replied that they will die as well so they might enjoy their life while smoking. Duh. good reason eh :(

My older brother already tried to quit smoking by lessening his use per day because he started to feel pain on his chest. It was about few months that he's doing good and almost gave iup smoking totally but he returned to his old habit after feeling much better.

I know it'll be a hard habit to break but if you really insist on giving up, I guess you can do it just like my brother in law. I'm not sure if using an alternative options can get rid them using the real cigarette. I just hope that one day they will turn their backs on that bad habit.
