Family Birthday Celebrants

This month, many of my relatives celebrated their birthdays.
February 2 – 52nd birthday of my SIL
February 3-  52nd birthday of my oldest brother
February 13- 50th birthday of my older sister
February 21- 7th birthday of my niece

Wow, we have so many birthday celebrants and more to come on March. It’s always a tradition to have a spaghetti or any kind of noodles to eat for it was believed it was for long life. Even if they will be no party as long as we’ll have a small get together lunch or dinner is good enough.

Gifts are always welcome even if it just small like one of those birthday frames as long as it is given by heart and that all matters.

Shopping Makes Me Crazy

So I was out again shopping last Sunday at the nearby mall. I initially wanted my niece to come with me but fortunately she’s not available that time for she’ll just go crazy with me that day..lol. Why did I say that? I’ve been in and out of different stores trying out shoes and fitting blouses and shirts endlessly. I was also looking for a cheap lingerie and happy to get a new bra that was on sale.

I did get some other personal stuff and boy I was happy! The only thing that worries me is the credit card billing this March hehe. Oh well, at least I still have self control to buy other unnecessary things for myself. It’s seldom that I splurge this much so I’m giving myself a reward for all the hard work that I have done!

I’m already locking my credit card for now because I don’t want to be shocked when the bill comes. Shopping makes me crazy but at least it makes me happy!

Trying to be Healthy

Eversince I was diagnosed with an acidity problem in my stomach, I already heed the advice of my doctor eventhough there are times that I cheat..hehe. I was told not to drink soft drinks anymore as it can produce too much acid in much stomach. Aside from that , I also gave up drinking coffee which is a good decision that I made. It's almost a year now that I have not sipped any coffee and that is something that I'm proud of. I also ;lessen my pork intake plus I also managed to eat on time.

These days, I’m eating more healthy. I love eating papaya now and veggies. I don;t eat processed or canned food now but I still need to learn how to eat more fruits because I only love to eat papaya and banana. We also lessen eating fatty foods and those fried foods. We just use our outdoor gas grills when we want some chicken barbeque.

My 2 bros. also stopped smoking… yahoooo!!! My older got the shock of his life when he had a stroke late last year so he totally stopped smoking and eating less fatty foods. I hope we’ll be more healthy this year because it’s hard to be sick.

How To Clean And Maintain Your Office Desk Chair

A guide to cleaning and maintaining your office desk chair.

A lot of people spend long hours at the office sitting in front of their office desks. If you are one of these people, your is probably where you are several hours every day. This is the reason why it is important to choose a good quality chair even if it is a cheap office chair. Your body should be comfortable and well supported during your long hours of work.

With the number of hours that you use your office chair, it is also not surprising that you will have to clean and maintain it regularly if you want it to last a long time. Extending the life of your office desk chair simply means that you will not have to replace it frequently, saving you the cost of a new discount chair. Below are some tips to help you in cleaning and maintaining your office desk chair.

· Clean your office desk chair regularly. The primary thing you need to do to be able to keep your chair in good quality is to clean it regularly. This is particularly important if you are the type who eats or drinks at the desk because food particles or liquids might splatter onto your office chair.

· Blot any spills immediately. For office chairs with fabric upholstery, do not wipe spills on your chair. Instead, dab or blot the spill using a paper towel. If more than a little amount of liquid seeps through the chair, you may use warm water with a little detergent to clean the fabric gently. If your chair has leather upholstery, you can simply wipe any spills with a damp cloth.

· Use leather cleaner. If your office chair has leather upholstery, you can use a leather cleaner to wipe the chair every once in a while. A leather cleaner is very easy to purchase and inexpensive.
