No Sports for Him

I’m not sure if I’m going to be alarmed with the eating habits and behavior of my nephew. At 13, he is just fond of eating rice only with soup (no meat or veggies) or sauces for his meal though he can eat some portions of spring rolls at times. We often told him that what he is eating is only fitted for babies and he can’t get lots of nutrition from that.

Others advised my SIL to just leave him like that and for sure in no time, he’d learn how to eat rice with chicken or meat in it. No doubt, that’s why he is so frail and thin for his age. He’s not also into sports as he finds playing computer games much more exciting. Ahh.. how’d I wish I can see him play basketball, soccer and other sports. It would be nice if he’d be interested in them and if that happens, I’ll be more that glad to give him basketball or soccer gifts on his birthday.

Oh well, I know that every kid has his own likes and passion and I don’t have to impose to him what to like.

The Trouble Starts Anew

Lately, I've been trying to be healthy  since the day I had my colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures last February. I've been checking out my diet and trying not to eat (as much as possible) all the foods that can trigger my hyperacidity attacks. Oh dear, I have sacrificed a lot.. ( a lot!!). I eliminated coffee and other caffeine products in my diet and that means no more hot coffee for me to sip every mornings. My doctor said it's acid forming and if I want some healing I should really follow her advices. Thankfully since February, I have not drink any coffee. I don't even crave to drink in the first place. I guess it has helped with my health.

Milk and milk products are also not good for my stomach, but it’s very impossible for me to get rid of them. I’m just trying to minimize eating them especially cheese, which I’m eating almost daily in the past. I’m not also eating too much in a meal because doing so will result in dyspepsia and bloating. Ohh dear.. I have lost weight as well and it saddens me. I don’t like the way I look in the mirror and my friends are even shock to see me this way.

With all the efforts that I’m doing, there are times that I still battle with hyperacidity and I already don’t know what to do. I’m just taking my antacid and even considering of looking for the best colon cleanse if that will heal me forever. Too bad, I have this kind of stomach. I just envy those that have so much appetite and can eat whatever they like without feeling bloated and acidic.

Killing Me Softly

Last Sunday, I had this throbbing migraine that started at the back of my head going up to my temple. What makes it worst is that, the lower right molar of mine is also aching. It’s a double pain and I’m getting crazy. I confined myself inside my room, trying hard not to open the lights because it can only worsen my migraine. The hot temperature also made me whine so much and the only consolation that I have is when we had tons of siomai and French fries after I woke up after a nap.

The pain is still there so I had no choice but to drink my Advil to relieve the pain. It was only yesterday when I was able to go to my dentist and have it checked. Some parts of my gum is swollen already and I need to rest it for a while. She didn’t extracted my molar yet as I was hoping and begging it’ll be save. My dentist just prescribed an amoxicillin for me to drink, new very soft toothbrush and 2 toothpaste for me to use (one for gums and sensitive teeth).

Right now, I’m on a soft diet for 2 days and it’s killing me. I only had lugaw, champorado, rice with loads of soup and mashed veggies because I could not bite meat. Arghhhh.. This diet will surely make me more thin and sexy hehe.. I don't even need fat burners because I don’t have much to burn anyway.

Hoping to eat more after I got fine in few days or so because I’m dying to eat grilled baby back ribs already.

Topamax Birth Defects

I was saddened to know that medicines that are used to cure migraines can pose danger to baby’s health. Pregnant mothers that were given Topamax to cure their migraine was not aware that it can cause birth defects to their babies such as these: cleft lip and palate deformities.

Fortunately, in 2008 after some studies and tests, these Topamax drugs are banned and the manufacturer is sued. Mother’s that became victim of this drug should know that they can file for a Topamax birth defect lawsuit at their attorney’s office to help them with the legal proceedings. If the defect is found to be caused by Topamax, you can receive compensation over this injury

A New Addition to the Family

My usual routine in the morning before going to work is to read my personal/work mails and browse my Facebook account. I was surprised to see a photo of my niece holding a very cute dog whom at that time has no name yet. It was a cavoodle dog, mix breed of King Charles Spaniel and mini poodle. He was only 6 weeks old and her mom bought it at the dog shop.

They named it Prince and now, he is the new addition to my sister’s family. I know he’ll be spoiled and I learned that he’s been sleeping at my sister’s bed at the moment as it was too cold in their place right now. Wintertime is coming so putting him on his bed alone will only make him cry. Ahhh.. poor doggie. I hope they’ll love and take care of that dog like what I’m doing with my own baby dog Sophie. I’m sure they’ll become pet lovers now that Prince is in their home.

Initially, my sister doesn’t want to get a dog because her son is allergic to animal’s fur but she changed her mind. With their new spacious house, Prince will have a big space to run around. I was even more surprised when I learned that my brother-in-law was crazy about the dog and his project of buying a billiard table and other billiards supplies for his recreation area is put on hold bec. he found Prince to be a good companion.

There's Always a Next Summer

My brother, his wife and I were excited when summer finally arrived this year. Not only it was the start of school break for their kids but also it was the time for us to go back to our “once a year exercises routine”. It was during these times when we can wear our shorts, hop on our bikes and cruise along the neighborhood very early morning or before evening. We could also play badminton in front of our house to stretch our muscles and sweat a little bit. We always do this every summer.

There’s also one Saturday morning when we all hopped in our van with our bikes in it and went to the nearest village where we called it biker’s haven. Our dog Sophie was not left behind for we carried her and let her run around. It was a great morning for us biking and jogging around the village. We promised to come back but funny this is; it never happened again.

Summer is about to end and we’re actually getting lazy to go biking, jogging and play the badminton. My brother’s promise to buy one of those men's running shorts for himself so that he can be more inspired to run was already buried in the deep sea of promises..lol . Anyway, there’s always next summer…

Something About Replica Handbags Popularity

>Replica handbags are available all local and online stores worldwide, so it is not a problem to get them while sitting at home or office. However, there are some things you need to remember at the time of their purchase online. It is very important to be ensured that the supplier with whom you are buying replica handbags is legitimate and not a scam artist who will just take your money and run. Genuine suppliers will have good quality designs and issues such as taxation and shipping will be covered sufficiently. This just tells you that you should have as much information about the site as possible before giving them your money.

Replica handbags cover the needs of such people who would like to possess something different or great but don't have the amount that can enable them to have the designer handbags from big brand names. These bags have taken the growing market by storm and people are now not paying much attention to the authentic versions.

Types of Replica Handbags

There are thousands of bags being sold online and you can get a Gucci or a Chanel replica handbag at a reasonable price. The most common replica handbag from famous designers include Chanel, Chloe, Gucci, Fendi, Louis V among many others. These bags are often referred to as handbag knockoffs since their designs look exactly like the original versions that they are copied from.

Prices of Replica Handbags

You should not think that the prices of these bags are low just because they are imitations. In the replica bags there are still classes that are quite expensive. For example you will have to cough up to $300 for a replica Gucci bag. By any means, that is not much amount for an average spender. However as compared to the authentic versions that cost a few thousands of dollars, the replica bags prices are considered low. To get a good quality replica designer handbag you have to prepare for the purchase. The more money you pay for the replica the better the quality you will get.

Career Change

Thanks to YM and social networking sites that let me communicate faster to my relatives most especially those that are already living in other countries. Not it can only made communication easier but it makes it more affordable since we can minimize calling on the phone because we can talk via Skype or YM chats for hours.

Anyway, talked to my cousins one weekend and I was more than happy to see them once again and talk about our lives. It’s always heartwarming to know that they are still much Pinoy inside even though they have lived there for over 2 decades already. Some have changed careers, from a corporate employee to a nurse. It was amazing to know that they have found their passion already.

Another cousin has been working in a company is also thinking about shifting too. It looks like that she loves fashion and beauty and that she wanted to go back to school. I’m sure she’ll do good on it most especially if she’ll put her heart and mind over it.

When a Cure for Migraine Becomes the Cause of Birth Defects

I experience mild to severe migraines from time to time and I have to say that I always hate having one. The throbbing pain that often starts on my nape and goes to the top of my head and near my eyes made me just want to lie down in bed with no lights on. I’ll be ok once I have massaged the area with a Chinese herbal ointment or a pain reliever.

For those people esp. pregnant women that have been prescribed by Topamax to relieve their migraines, it is sad to say that this drug has been found out to cause cleft lip and palate to the babies. As a result, a Topamax birth defect lawsuits have been filed by women when they found out that the birth defect of their babies where caused by this drug.

Security Cameras Giving Us Some Peace of Mind

There have been many crimes being committed lately and it’s already becoming alarming. The news on TV is packed with violence lately and it’s sad to know that crimes are sometimes committed morbidly. Thankfully, some establishments and other places have security cameras installed that can aid in the crime investigation. There have been some good results as some crimes have been solved and crooks where put to jail because of the help of cctv and security camera videos recordings.

Thieves are becoming hi-tech as well, so installing cameras in many places as much as possible can sometimes deter them from doing the crime. If not, at least their modus operandi and faces will be recorded. At 2mcctv.com, your residential, commercial and even governmental security solutions needs will be addressed. They are offering various professional surveillance systems with complete computer and web-based based methods. Installing cctv cameras can give us peace of mind and can secure our homes, offices and businesses from people that wanted to intrude in our own space.

Not Giving Up the Dream

Almost all my twitter friends already own their Panasonic Lumix 5 digital camera and I was left wishing that I also had the same. Fortunately, I’m not too easy to be influenced with their shopping madness because If I was, then I’m already a proud member of the lumix club.

I just recently bought a new Canon ixus point and shoot camera and my Canon DSLR camera is still working (but too bulky to carry around) so adding another camera is already overkill, I reckon. I need to priorities some other things since owning a lumix can wait. Who knows, the price will drop and a new much improved version will come out if I decide to get one already. I’m still not giving up the dream of having one. In fact, I have read some camera reviews, saw sample shots and heard good raves about this camera. I have to say that it’s not far behind from DSLR in terms of quality, only it is more portable and can easily fit my small bag.

Handful of Responsibilities

I was seating in the living last night, trying to get some rest after a half day of online writing when all of a sudden the thoughts of a friend just enter in to my mind. Made me think that she’s a supermom and also picture myself in her shoes. I guess, if you’re really a mom and a parent you’ll do whatever it takes for your family even if your health is at stake.

Juggling 2 jobs at a time is not a joke and I have to remind her to take it a little bit slow because once she gets sick, it may not be worth it. Her hands are full with her work and family life. However, knowing my friend, she can manage all the hard work and sacrifices with flying colors. She is good at time management anyway. I’m just wishing her all the best in her career and family life.

My Love for Watches

At first, I really never cared if I don’t have a nice or branded watch or if I have only one watch that I can use over and over again. My love for watches only started back in the late 90’s when I got a watch as a present from a cousin in the US. I treasured and appreciated it so much that I kept the watch up to now. Later on, another cousin gave me another watch as a gift when her mom went home for a vacation back here in the country. I sure felt special because I’ve been receiving watches as gifts.

I soon found myself saving money and bought a branded watch for my birthday. My purchases didn’t stop there as I’ve been also buying from a friend overseas. Even my brother-in-law noticed that I love watches so when I had my vacation in Sydney few years back, he pulled me to a watch store and asked me what I want. So generous of him so I just picked a gold Guess watch. Before I went back home, I could not resist not to buy another silver watch with Swarovski crystals thus I made that purchase.

A trip to HK Disneyland in Dec. 2009 also made me purchase a leather-strapped Minnie mouse watch. Would you believe that just the other night, my eyes feasted on the some watches that I found on e-bay? I’m on the verge of buying one but unfortunately the debit card that was attached on my paypal is already expired that’s why I can’t make any purchase at the moment. Bet ya, it was close.

Anyway, so you think I’m already contented with some of my watches? I’m still intending to buy few and perhaps I’ll try some other brands such as , Michael Kors and Anne Klein Watches. Found the Anne Klein to be elegant and stylish. I already saw great deals at Deals Aholic and they have nice collection of watches.

No Coffee for Me

Before I even stop drinking coffee, I have this special mug that I used everyday. It was given to me by my sister one Christmas and perfect to sip my hot coffee each morning. I still use it though, not for my coffee anymore but for drinking water.

image image

I still want to own new ceramic coffee mugs that I can use, maybe with my picture or name in it. It’s also perfect gift ideas as personalized items are in thing these days.
