So have you wondered all along why do we blog and want a site of our own? I actually created my own way back in 2005 out of curiosity and when I saw an online friend of mine created her own blog. It a venue for her to talk about anything so I was encourage to do so as a place also to share my thoughts and whatever i feel like sharing about.

It was after 2 years when I decided to get my own domain and it was really exciting especially I had my name in it. I blogged and blogged for more years and here I owned several blogs like this one, now using wordpress (yeah I upgraded). I also have blogs of different formats and different hosts.

Just in case you are interested in starting your own blog or website whether personal or business you’ll find lots of website useful in choosing your hosts or blog formats. There are companies that offer domain and hosting packages that are affordable and it’s up to you to decipher each one of them. Look for host that gives a good deal with regards to your bandwidth and host space and in no time your site/ blog will be on-line too.

Choose the Right Web Host

Twenty years ago, I never imagined that I will be in for a ride that is the world wide web. It has become a part of me that a day is not complete if I am not connected. Call it addiction, but that probably is what it is. I even own a number of sites where I can share my thoughts in the internet. It follows that I prefer web hosts that provide efficient and effective services.

You may notice that almost anything, if not everything, can be done via the internet. That is how powerful this technology is. Money is virtually transferred online and transactions are done in the comforts of one’s home. A few clicks here & there and a transaction is closed. Even traditional schools and universities have virtual classrooms now. The point is, the future has arrived and it is still progressing.

It is no wonder that, like me, online companies (or those with online services) take web hosting seriously. Finding the right and perfect host is like an investment; if it is a sound one, it will reap proceeds. Otherwise, well, you get the picture. The host is the soul of one’s site. If it shuts down, all else fail. So if you have plans of building your own internet empire, I suggest you choose one that is a cut above the rest.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

These days more government, non governmental organization and common people are trying their best to promote eco-friendly products and ways to minimize out waste. I have seen lots of store that is also implementing the use of reusable bags when they go shopping or in the grocery but it seems it has low turnout about this here in our side of the world.

I would have not thought that a company like Prime Electronic Components have teamed up with largest recyclers. They are buying used equipments, surplus electronic components and other scraps from offices or companies and they will find a way to have is check and sell them to other users at a much lower price. They are now selling hard drives, memory cards, computers, wireless networking, refurbished avaya definity phone system and lots more. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: these are rules that this company is following and I think we should also follow.

Last March or it was in April when our phone at home went dead (no dial tone) for about 3 weeks and that made us so angry. I immediately reported the incident to them early and they have promised that they will bring the service back within a day or two. 2 weeks passed and still the same so I bombarded their service report line with my report. Worst thing happen and still no service from them so my mom had no choice but to report it personally at their office and that is only the time they addressed our complaints and after 2 days our phone was back to normal. How is that for a service huh? Sometimes it is disgusting bec. you pay for the service yet they can’t deliver it well enough.

Anyway, I can go on with all my rants about that phone company but I am sparing you from that already. You can read about Phone Service Comparisons just in case you need a much faster and reliable server. Another popular ways to communicate with anyone is through VOIP or the Voice Over Internet Protocol. My sis and I have been using Skype for quite sometime now and our voice chatting so clear that you almost thought that you are using an ordinary phone.

High-quality Spectrotel phone service in VOIP and DSL are being offered to its clients. Find out more about Spectrotel here.

I opened my MY COMPUTER today and holy molly, there is a red sign on my hard drive already. It means that my HD space is about to lose space because I only have 160GB of space. I’ve been uploading photos each day because I have a Project 365 – photo a day and no doubt that is the reason why is my hard drive is filling up so quickly. I need an External hard drive already.

I am asking friends about what brand to purchase and I have been looking and researching online too and it looks like that Western Digital is a good choice. I am going to buy and I hope soon.

Oh gosh, I’ve been drooling about HP laptops for so many many months now and up to now I am still dreaming of it. Having owned an HP Pavillion desktop for almost 3 years now, I realized that if ever I will buy a laptop, I want an HP pavillion laptop too because I know it is very durable.

Every time I go to the malls, I never failed to drop by the computer shops to look for different laptops. Sure enough some laptop brands are very affordable and that makes me want to own in a snap. HP pavillion laptops are different, since they are high end, it’s price is a bit pricey. Right now I still can’t afford it so I guess I have to wait a little more. Drooling !!!

PROJ. 365: Computer Clean Up
Another busy day for me here because it’s PC clean up. Every now and then I try to “Clean” our computers so that it will perform much better. Today I am trying too reformat one computer that is working very slow. I am guessing it must be because of some virus that might not be trapped by my anti-virus. I am glad that I learned howto reformat because that spared me P250-300 fee from my technician.

I also runned anti-virus, malwarebtyes and spybot on all of the computers. It caught some suspicious sypwares so I was able to delete them. I also deleted old customer’s files like photos and more. Wishing that all of my computers will be spared from viris attack again.
