Lately, I’ve been disheartened with the way my net café business is doing. Sales are going down and blame it on the other cafe sprouting like mushrooms everywhere all the time. Sometimes it’s just hard to compete most especially when they lowered the rentals way too low. I also noticed that mostly all households have computers and internet connections already that’s why students and my other customers are cut almost ¾.

Now, I have to think very hard if I’m going to close it or just stay until no one is patronizing anymore. It’s sad to think about that but that’s how business go sometimes. I had my time when it was on peak 3 years ago and I’m still very thankful for that. I know that God will lead me to a new path and I’ve been reading that buying gold either in the form or gold coins or bullion are one of the safest investment as it seems. Christmas is fast approaching and with that in mind, my SIL who happens to be very resourceful in finding new ways on how to earn, attended yet another seminar where she can become a distributor of certain beauty products. In fact, she already handed me a brochure of the products that they are selling and I was tempted to order a lipstick that I saw. I know she can get around 20-25% of the selling price and it’s not that bad, at least she can have additional income  aside from the salary that she get from work and her husbands income.

She’s been handling health insurance, health products, beauty products, educational plans and even selling some jewelries. I guess if she only know how to earn online, I know she’ll not have second thoughts to join and become an affiliate of some companies. I can see her determination in helping her husband in meeting the needs of their family and with that, I salute her.I’m pretty sure that in the next few days, she’ll be selling Christmas stuff already hehe.

All of us have passions or dreams in our life that we want to pursue eventhough there’ll be struggles and hurdles along the way. Lately, I’ve been thinking about a lot of things. There are thoughts that I need to think of a new business that I can get into since this net cafe that I have right now is not lucrative anymore. It’s still in operation and sad to say that only few customers are coming in due to steep competition here in the neighborhood. I know I can’t keep up with the competition but I’m not closing it any time sooner.

My online job now is what keeps me on the go and I’m so thankful for that. I’m praying that it’ll still continue on many more years to come. Like what I’ve mentioned in my previous post, my oldest sister is now  a blogger. At first she was clueless on how it works but with a little explanation on my part she’s now blogging almost everyday. She’s very easy to pick up on my pointers and I know she will be also good in doing reviews for companies when the time comes.

Even though she is earning quite well in her job overseas she’s still finding ways on how to earn extra because she has 3 children in college. As a business minded person, she has tried already buy and sell of things. She’s even selling goods to her officemates as a sideline. You know you can’t take away the enterprising ways in her. Who knows she might even buy and sell gold coins in the future. That is not far to become reality since she also sells gold jewelries from Saudi. I just hope whatever business she’s going into, she’ll be good at it.
